In fact, the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center was the first comprehensive cancer center in metro Phoenix to offer diagnosis, treatment, clinical trials and support services under one roof.
Located on the campus of HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center, the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center was made possible by community philanthropy.
It features the Diane and Bruce Halle Clinical Pavilion, offering complete treatment and support services, and the adjoining Debi and Jerry Bisgrove Research Pavilion, where breakthrough clinical trials are conducted. An enclosed pedestrian bridge connects the two buildings, literally symbolizing the “bridge between care and cure.”
Since its dedication in December 2001, the HonorHealth Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center has become a leader in caring for cancer patients and fighting the disease that threatens their lives.
Today, we’re proud to be a key part of HonorHealth’s prestigious accreditation for comprehensive cancer programs by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
