Spring Break Adventures...
Two Truths and a Lie game entry form
Enter your brief travel-related "two truths and one lie" below (doesn't have to be about Spring Break). Responses will be used for a fun activity/game during the March All Staff meeting.
Your colleagues will be trying to guess who each of the truths and lie belong to, with "fabulous" prizes going to the best sleuths!
Need inspiration? Here's a sample set (you'll have to guess who they're from)...
- Traveling from Paris to Washington, D.C., as a consequence of not knowing it was France's "spring forward" day, I was late getting to de Gaulle airport and missed my flight. Instead of a calamity, United put me in a first-class seat on a flight leaving just 30 minutes later than my originally scheduled departure.
- Driving the German Autobahn from Stuttgart to Munich, I picked up a passenger/hitchhiker at a fueling stop. The guy turned out to be a famous clown/entertainer whose act I caught on the lawn at Oktoberfest.
- I spent a night aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71, a Nimitz-class, nuclear-powered aircraft carrier), far away from the U.S. east coast and in heavy seas, after flying to it in a C-2 Greyhound airplane that made a tail-hook landing upon arrival, and took off via catapult launch.
